Hello there,

I am Andy Pierce!

I am a Resilience Expert and big wave surfer with over 8 years of full-time experience training elite performers, including U.S. Army Special Operations Soldiers and seasoned business leaders. 

 

My mental performance strategies are grounded in performance psychology and have been field-tested in both combat zones and corporate boardrooms to help leaders sharpen focus, navigate uncertainty, and build resilient, high-performing teams.

Our 'WHY'

 

Bounce Resilience was born from a moment that changed my life. In 2010, a wipeout on a massive wave at Sunset Beach shattered my leg and nearly cost me my life. From this experience, I dedicated my life to understand how people rebuild after setbacks, perform under pressure, and come back stronger.

What began as a personal quest became a performance framework, refined through lived experience, field-tested under pressure, and built to help leaders face adversity with clarity and conviction.

  • Leadership: Led and managed teams, fostering collaboration and enhancing operational objectives for Schofield Barracks Soldiers.

  • Collaboration: Worked with multidisciplinary teams to integrate holistic health, enhancing soldier well-being and performance through mental, physical, and emotional health approaches.

  • Curriculum Development: Designed and implemented resilience and performance training for tens of thousands of Army Soldiers, aligning programs with H2F objectives.

  • Assessments: Conducted assessments to identify mental barriers and individual needs, offering tailored strategies and directing personnel to appropriate resources for optimal performance and well-being.

  • Instructional Expertise: Applied effective teaching methodologies to maximize participant understanding and retention.

  • Tactical Athlete Development: Facilitated soldier development by focusing on mental, spiritual, physical, nutritional, and sleep readiness, while providing training on leadership, team building, and mental skills to enhance overall performance and personal growth.

  • Embedded Support: Developed and delivered targeted training for Army soldiers across various roles, including Special Operations and Army Ranger units, significantly enhancing their operational readiness.

  • Customized Plans: Created individualized training strategies to help soldiers overcome mental barriers and excel in high-pressure situations.
